People only like positive and pleasant surprises. But nobody can tell whether the surprise sitting behind those walls are good or bad.

I prefer that the walls come down as soon as possible so that you know that person completely before committing to anything. As for surprises, they come along the way when the two people help each other grow in life and enjoy life. :)
