I will definitely check out this movie. :)
I believe that a certain structure is essential in society, and college is a good place to initiate young minds into thinking that way. However, most people go to college to get a safe and secure job with a decent salary not to learn, and this is where the system has failed.
Most of the jobs we do today are either not needed or highly overrated in value. And those who do meaningful work in our society don't need much training or a college education but then they don't get paid well.
I think the college system should be modified or discarded gradually and organically by the upcoming generations and replace them with something more useful such as self learning or learning on the job. We need people doing jobs that matter to them and the society, not some made up jobs just to keep people employed so that they could pay their college tuition debt.
Thanks for sharing about the movie and your thoughts on the higher education system. :)
