I had also consumed the content on minimalism until I realized that what they suggest would require me to completely change the interiors of my house, and my wardrobe, something that I wasn't financially, or emotionally ready for. I love my stuff and try to make my clothes, furniture and devices last as long as possible. I get my shoes and clothes stitched wherever they are torn, I get my phone or laptop, or any of my chairs or couches repaired whenever they get damaged. So even though my house may not look as pristine as those shown by minimalism influencers, or my wardrobe not as organized, I do practice minimalism in my own untidy way. And this is how most sensible people, at least in my country, India, live.
