I applaud you for talking about a very mundane topic in a very interesting way -- fear and identity crisis. Your personal stories that began with struggles and ended in success, are very effective in making the reader introspect about his or her own life. I began recalling my fear of ghosts, darkness, dogs, and then more recently, heights.
