One child:

Pros:
1. Undivided love and attention of parents and relatives
2. Will inherit all the wealth
3. No sibling to be compared with

Cons:
1. No sibling to play with
2. All love and attention of parents and relatives (can be suffocating at times)
3. Have to carry all expectations
4. Might be compared with cousins and neighbor’s children

Two children:

Same gender:
Pros:
1. Easier to understand each other
2. Elder can be younger’s guide and role model
3. Can share clothes and toys

Cons:
1. Cat/dog fights
2. Easier for parents to compare them to each other (won’t have to look outside for comparison)
3. May want a sibling of opposite gender

Opposite gender:

Pros:
1. More love and less fights (one can hope)
2. Can become friends easily with each other’s partners

Cons:
1. Less able to understand each other
2. Can’t share clothes

Identical Twins:

Pros:
1. Can fool others by replacing each other
2. Easier to understand each other
3. Can share clothes and toys

Cons:
1. One can make the other suffer by replacing each other
2. May want a sibling of opposite gender

Three (or more) children:

Pros:
1. More siblings to play with
2. Can share clothes and toys
3. Elder can be younger’s guide and role model

Cons:
1. Difficult to manage financial budget for parents
2. Difficult to give the needed time and attention to each child

To all the parents out there, who fall in one of these categories (are there any more categories?), please add more points in the comments. You may also correct my points, if you have had a different experience.
