Even if I ignore your limited knowledge of the tussle for freedom of speech in India, you have got many facts wrong about Goddess Kali.

Firstly, there is nothing "queer" in Hinduism. Everything is a mix of masculine and feminine energy. Goddess Kali is a manifestation of strong feminine energy.

"In India, she is the Hindu goddess of death, time, and doomsday. She is associated with sexuality and violence"

Please specify your source because this looks made-up. Kali is a destroyer of evil, what is "sexual" about that?

"My Kali is queer. She’s a free spirit. She spits at the patriarchy. She dismantles Hindutva (right-wing extremism). She destroys capitalism. She embraces everyone with all her thousand hands."

Looks like this woman doesn't know how Kali was manifested, who manifested her and for what purpose. If she has the freedom to re-imagine the Goddess then people should have the freedom to criticize her for it. Those who threatened her should obviously be dealt with legally but what she has done deserves harsh cricitism.

This woman hates capitalism but will accept donations and sponsorships for her movies from capitalists (all documentary filmmakers do).
